Clopay Avante AX and Model 904 full-view garage doors are now available with Intellicore® polyurethane foam insulated stiles and rails for increased thermal protection.
Built for long-term resilience, the residential and commercial door models (https://www.clopaydoor.com/aluminum-doors) feature a 2-1/8”-thick rust- and corrosion-resistant aluminum frame fitted with glass panels.
An integral bulb seal between the tongue and groove section joints keeps out air and water. The doors meet ASHRAE 90.1 and IECC air infiltration (AI) requirements and insulated models comply with HFC-free mandates.
Twelve window options are available to control daylight and privacy. Multiple frame colors, including powder-coated or anodized finishes, can be ordered.
“Glass panel garage doors are a great fit for new construction and remodeling projects that call for a modern aesthetic to enhance indoor-outdoor connections. And they aren’t just for the garage,” said Justin Evans, Clopay’s vice president of marketing. “Builders and architects are installing sectional doors in commercial venues like offices, gyms, schools, and restaurants to increase square footage for entertaining when the weather is nice.”
Closed, the door becomes a large window so strength and thermal protection matter. Insulated versions have a 3.8 R-value when specified with clear insulated glass.
Clopay residential and commercial full-view doors are available in sizes up to 20’ wide and 20’ heights. Built-in WindCode® reinforcement is offered on models with a design pressure up to +30/-30 pounds per square foot (psf).
