Clopay Building Products Commercial Products Group is introducing new polyurethane insulated upward acting sectional doors designed to act as a thermal barrier against even the most extreme temperatures and weather.

The Model 3700 Series three-layer “sandwich” door features environmentally safe, CFC- and HCFC-free polyurethane insulation foam injected between two layers of galvanized steel, with a thermal break, offering R-values of up to 17.2. There are five models available in 1-3/8”, 1-3/4” and 2” panel thicknesses. Four color choices and a variety of glazing options are also offered.

A 32”x 80” pass door is an option on the Model 3720 for applications that have pedestrian traffic, and saves on heating and cooling costs by reducing the number of times the sectional door needs to be opened. The pass door is designed with continuous hinge plate reinforcements to fit a conventional door hinge.
