The house is part of a grand prize package that HGTV will award to one lucky winner later this year. Fans can take a virtual tour and enter for a chance to win it twice per day during the sweepstakes* period at HGTV.com/UrbanOasis.
Designer Brian Patrick Flynn selected Clopay Canyon Ridge® Collection faux wood garage doors and a complementing Craftsman Collection fiberglass entry door factory-painted Sherwin Williams “Heartthrob Red” for the home’s exterior. Clopay Master and Authorized dealer, AE Door & Window, managed the garage door installation.
“Everyone in the neighborhood will quickly come to know the HGTV Urban Oasis 2018 as the house with the red doors,” said Pat Lohse, Clopay’s vice president of marketing. “The doors are an iconic design element that ties the exterior together and gives the house eye-catching curb appeal and personality.
Architectural details like the rectangular windows with simulated divided lites and the simple, yet elegant panel design on the front door coordinates beautifully with the carriage-style doors on the home’s detached two-car garage.
The doors look like real wood but are actually constructed of low-maintenance, energy-efficient materials that won’t rot, warp or crack. “Cincinnati is a four-season climate. The winner of the HGTV Urban Oasis Giveaway 2018 will appreciate the low-maintenance durability and energy-efficient performance Clopay doors provide,” Lohse added.
Cincinnati is the ninth location in the network's annual Urban Oasis sweepstakes series. Last year’s giveaway, a remodeled Craftsman bungalow in Knoxville, Tenn., generated 65 million sweepstakes entries.
HGTV is taking viewers behind the scenes of the entire floor to ceiling renovation during a one-hour HGTV Urban Oasis 2018 Special that premieres Wednesday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m. ET. An encore presentation airs Thursday, October 4 at 8 a.m.
