Clopay is expanding its contemporary residential garage door design portfolio with a new collection of natural wood doors called the Reserve Wood Collection Modern Series.

The clean, simple lines and stylish versatility of the Reserve Wood Collection Modern Series blend beautifully with exterior design elements commonly found on transitional, contemporary, and mid-century modern home styles.

The semi-custom doors feature horizontal wood plank cladding that can be paired with aluminum accent strips or configured with a variety of offset window layouts to add visual interest to the garage door and enhance curb appeal. Solid plank doors are also offered. Depending on the model, door sizes range from 6’ to 18’ feet wide, and 6’6” up to 8’ high.

The 2-3/8” thick 4-layer polystyrene insulated doors are constructed with a Hemlock stile and rail frame and luan backer. Cladding overlay species include Cedar, Redwood, Fir, or Meranti, which can be factory-stained, factory-painted white, or primed for painting in the field

Clopay factory-finished doors are sanded, caulked and finished on all six sides under controlled conditions using Sikkens stain. Sikkens is considered to be the highest quality and most durable exterior stain finish system on the market. The finish is backed by Clopay’s two-year limited warranty.

Seven stains are available to complement most exterior trim and entry door finishes including: Natural, Natural Oak, Cedar, Teak, Mahogany, Butternut, and Dark Oak.
